Android Kitkat 4.4.2 Ready For T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S4

T-Mobile has released the Android update for the Samsung Galaxy S4 as promised, starting March 10th the Galaxy S4s from T-Mobile can download the Update for transitioning to Android Kitkat 4.4.2 Baseband M919UVUFNB4.

The basic requirements for the update though are that the current base band should be Android 4.3 M919UVUEMK2 and more than 50% battery charge, the latest version of Samsung Kies software. There are two basic ways to upgrade the first and the easiest is the “Over The Air” for which you would require an internet connection over WiFi, the second method is the “Manual” Upgrade for which you would have to connect the device to the computer via USB cable and connect via the latest version of Samsung Kies.  The file size of the download is a considerable 388MB and would take some time to download as well as to get installed.

The upgrade provides the device to change the Android OS on the S4 from 4.3 Jelly Bean to 4.4.2 Kitkat, and so come along all the upgrades and enhancements of Kitkat like the new and improved Launcher, smooth functionality, better RAM management, better Multitasking capacities, improved stability, Google Now, Immerse mode, new Keyboard and many more features.
